This was my first attempt to draw a black man. As you can tell.
I can never get myself to shade dark enough. Though I have gotten A LOT better
since my first true pencil drawing.

Oh my god! This is simply fantastic! I flipped back over here to the blog and I about crapped myself. On first glance I thought it was a photo and I had to do a double take. This is why I started this blog. To flush out the artists I know to have amazing gifts. :)

You did an amazing job, practice always make perfect. I find myself never having the patience to do pencil art like this, whereas i can whip up a painting that I love in a couple hours.
This was my favorite one when you showed me at school! :D
